The Capitol City Electric (CCE) team is pleased to welcome Todd Starkey as the director of low voltage operations and Rodger Dean as chief operating officer.
Starkey will direct the low voltage operations for CCE as we expand that part of our business model.
Starkey joins CCE with 20 + years of experience in the low voltage/structured cabling industry and has several manufacturer’s product line certifications. With his project management and installation experience on many large commercial and industrial projects he will have an immediate impact on our ability to complete this work. He has worked closely with customers, engineers, and vendors to allow for the seamless completion of these projects. His experience with fiber optics, 10gig, special systems, copper solutions, etc. will make him a valuable asset to our customers going forward.
Dean will direct the operations of CCE focusing on strategic planning, business development, operational efficiency, communication, work flow processes, and employee development.
Dean joins CCE with 30+ years of banking experience in commercial lending and the past 12 years focusing on strategic planning, business development, business acquisition, management of multiple branches and the largest loans, problem loan and personnel issue resolution, etc. In addition to banking he has experience in real estate brokerage and appraisal, insurance, and farm management.
CCE is also pleased to announce the promotion of Jeff Stinnette to vice president of industrial operations and Ty Peterson to purchasing manager.
Stinnette has an extensive background working with industrial customers. His experience includes working closely with customers throughout the entire project cycle to manage project costs, provide provisions for future expansion, and to minimize down time. He has managed many projects from small to large and has experience with PLC controls, Motor Controls, fiber optics, and medium voltage applications.
Peterson has filled various roles for CCE over the last year including fleet management, equipment/tool tracking, human resources, and marketing. His focus will now be centered on the management of our purchasing process and warehouse staff.
These individuals are joining and enhancing an outstanding team including Adam Randall owner/CEO an electrical engineer with a diverse experience at Black & Veatch, OPPD, and Tenaska; our commercial/industrial project managers: Corry Jones, senior project manager (PE) an electrical engineer licensed in several states with significant experience in designing solutions for both industrial and commercial clients; Doug Standage, VP commercial construction provides a wealth of large project experience and oversees multiple commercial and industrial projects; and John Eirich, VP commercial construction brings 33 years of electrical design, installation, and project management including industrial, schools, business, and hospitals; Shawn Mencl lead estimator and project manager has several years of electrical field experience along with eight years of estimating experience including large commercial and industrial projects; Phil Cook estimator has 30 years of electrical field, design, and project management experience; Tim Ashman safety director has many years’ experience in the safety field and has designed and implemented a strong safety program for CCE; Lori Mehser office manager has 23 years of office/accounting experience and plays a significant role with the assistance of our service department scheduling, billing and accounts payable management, and keeps our office running efficiently; additionally, CCE has a large group of foreman and electricians with many years of experience.
Capitol City Electric (CCE) started in 1981 and currently has over 100 employees headquartered in Lincoln, Neb., specializing in the design, installation and maintenance of electrical services for industrial and commercial customers throughout the Midwest. In the past year CCE has completed projects in the states of Illinois, Iowa, Oklahoma, Texas, and Nebraska.
